Starting your IB DP Geography teaching journey can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate it alone. This practical workshop is designed specifically for teachers new to DP Geography who need immediate guidance before possibly attending official IB training.

Across two focused 90-minute sessions, Richard and Matt guide you through creating a strategic two-year overview while focusing intensively on those crucial opening months. You will explore how to select appropriate optional themes that align with your resources and expertise, determine which units provide the strongest foundation for student success, and master the art of deconstructing the dense DP Geography guide into manageable, engaging lesson sequences.

We also share proven resourcing strategies and digital tools that will save you countless hours of preparation.
