Who we are

International Geography .training (“IGT”) is operated by geographyalltheway SASU, a French simplified joint-stock company, in partnership with Matt Podbury. These terms apply to every booking made through this website.

What you’re buying

Each workshop is two 90-minute live online sessions, delivered via Google Meet. Every booking includes:

• Live attendance at the chosen workshop on the published date.
• Session resources (slides, links, exemplars) shared after the workshop.
• One 30-minute one-to-one with Richard or Matt, scheduled by email and held within four weeks of the workshop.

Pricing and payment

Prices are listed in euros on the pricing page. Payment is by card or bank transfer; geographyalltheway SASU issues an invoice for every booking. EU VAT is calculated on the invoice based on your billing country and VAT identifier; schools outside the EU are not charged VAT.

Bundles and group bookings

Bundle prices apply when the same person attends every workshop in the bundle. Each additional teacher from the same school or organisation pays 60% of the per-teacher price. Group bookings are arranged by emailing richard@geographyalltheway.com.

Refunds and cancellation

You may cancel a booking and receive a full refund up to four weeks before the workshop. Inside four weeks, refunds are at our discretion; we will normally transfer your booking to another workshop in the same season at no additional cost.

If we cancel a workshop you will be offered, at your choice, a transfer to another workshop or a full refund.

Substitutions

You may send a colleague in your place. Please email us with the substitute’s name and email at least 48 hours before the workshop start so we can issue the joining link.

Recording and intellectual property

Workshops are not recorded. Session resources shared after each workshop remain the intellectual property of their respective authors and are licensed to attendees for personal classroom use. Resources may not be republished, redistributed, or used to train machine-learning systems without prior written permission.

Affiliations

IGT workshops are independent and are not endorsed by, affiliated with, or approved by the International Baccalaureate Organization or Cambridge International Education.

Limitation of liability

We will deliver the workshops with reasonable care and skill. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a booking is capped at the amount you paid for that booking. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for any liability that cannot be excluded under French law.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by discussion will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts, save where consumer protection law gives you a right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version applicable to your booking is the version published when you completed the booking.
